You share a lot of the same genetics with your family members. This can have a bearing on your later life. For example, certain illnesses or diseases. I do believe there are tests that can be done to see if you or your family are prone to getting a disease.

This can occur when the instructions in a gene changes. Sometimes, there’s no effect. On other occasions, it can cause a disease. These are known as mutations. We all go through these mutations.

I believe it is very possible to understand certain risks and change certain things about your lifestyle to reduce risks. At the same time, I think that if you are predisposed, then no matter what you do, if you going to get something, you will.

Oh dear! I don’t envy you. Been there, done that. Firstly, take it easy. I know it’s stressful, but try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Don’t feel like you have to do everything on your own. You can always get help.

For instance, your spouse or partner is there to help. Sharing that responsibility should make you feel less on edge. As for the kids, try food as a way of easing things. You can get them their favourite snacks, for example. On the big day, get them a takeaway that they enjoy. Hopefully, little things like that can go a long way, so that they don’t kick up a fuss.

Personally I don’t think so. You might feel like you’re getting a good bargain, but as you said maybe that used bike will end up costing you as much as your old one.

I would say it’s best to go with a brand new one. Might cost more, but at least you shouldn’t have any bad surprises.

Touching on what the previous poster said, if you have a family and pets, you can safely say it is going to be a high-traffic household. A matte finish with a wire-brushed look is one way to go, as it can easily hide scratches. A clear grain or high-sheen wood cannot do this.

Hi! I think the purpose of PR agencies is mostly to help businesses build their brand, which means, find the right logo and slogan, and figure out how to interact with their ideal customers. If you think you already have a strong brand, then maybe a PR agency isn’t for you.

Athough they do other things of course, I think they can help with marketing, and with spreading the word about your new products or services.

I know bankruptcy doesn’t sound fun at all, but it isn’t the end of the world, you know. Of course, it could have some consequences on your credit, but it would allow you to start with a clean slate.

Counselling will help you figure out which option is the best for you, but I just want to point out that bankruptcy is not something you should be afraid of.

Asking your family is certainly an option, but it’s not always an available resource for everyone. For example, I’d feel awful asking my aging parents to dip into their retirement funds and shoulder my financial burden. I don’t know if family is the best go-to option when it comes to money matters.

Thanks for stating the obvious, Eliza. I can feel your judgment oozing from my computer screen.
