Wallace replied to the topic Certified Dog Breeders: More information needed… in the forum Lifestyle 4 months, 2 weeks ago
That’s great! I never owned a dog before, so being able to get some advice will be helpful for sure.
That’s an interesting point… It’s so sad that many shelter dogs have been abused before they were abandoned. People can be so cruel sometimes! Not everyone has what it takes to be a kind and responsible dog owner.
Thank you, I’ll check them out!
Buying a healthier dog with a better temperament sounds like a good argument to me.

It’s time for us to add a dog to our family! The kids got involved in the decision, of course, and we finally made a choice: we want to get a husky puppy.
A friend told me it was important to not only buy our puppy from a breeder, but also to choose a certified breeder. When I asked him why he thought it was so important to buy from a c…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic What’s the deal with dental sedation? in the forum Health 5 months, 1 week ago
I totally understand. I’m a bit like that too. Actually, I heard that a fear of dentists is more common than you think. Dental anxiety is nothing new.
If you are going to have dental implants, I don’t see any other way out of this. You will have to be sedated. There’s one other option…you could choose not to have the procedure.
Wallace replied to the topic Moving + Children = STRESS in the forum Lifestyle 8 months ago
Since there are two of you, perhaps one of you can just handle the movers and all associated tasks. Then the other can just take care of the kids. Each of your jobs become easier if you divide it like that.
Wallace replied to the topic Buying a used motorcycle… in the forum Shopping 8 months, 1 week ago
Yeah, I think buying used can be a good idea if you’re careful. I guess buying a used motorcycle from GP Bikes you should have nothing to fear, but of course you have to try it out to see if you like it and if it’s the right one for you.
If you know motorcycles a little, I guess you don’t need to have a mechanic inspect it for you. Just take…[Read more]

OK, we’ll check them out. Thanks for your tips everyone. It sounds like we will definitely have a good time and save some money as well!
No, not yet. I wanted to learn a little more before deciding. I think I have pretty much made up my mind. I think my wife was right. This may be better than a hotel.
My wife is reading your message over my shoulder and she’s nodding rigorously at everything you just said.

My family is going to go for a vacation in Toronto soon. I thought we would stay in a hotel, but my wife mentioned renting a vacation condo instead. Apart from not wanting to argue with her (since I’ll end up losing anyway), I’m starting to warm up to the idea, but I still have reservations about renting anything. A hotel seems so much simpler t…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic Home Security Advice – What do you recommend? in the forum Lifestyle 9 months, 1 week ago
You can do a few other things to keep your home safer and make it less of a target. For example, you can draw the blinds or curtains. This will stop burglars from creeping up and prying. Some of these burglars will get close to a window just so that they can look in. They aren’t really going to do anything. They are just studying, observing,…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic I want to learn more about marketing. in the forum Education 9 months, 3 weeks ago
I don’t understand why so many people are afraid of marketing! It’s really all about figuring out the value of your product, determining who your ideal customers are, and finding ways to reach out to them.
If you would like some interesting reading material, this should help you get started: What is marketing?
Of course there are many man…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic How can I protect my basement from flooding? in the forum Lifestyle 9 months, 4 weeks ago
Calling plumbers to install a sump pump and backwater valve is great, but there are also small things you can do to make things better.
For example, when you shovel snow in the winter, be sure to shovel it away from your house instead of making a big pile against the wall. You should also look around your house and make sure there aren’t any c…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic What’s a good area to live in downtown Toronto? in the forum Lifestyle 10 months ago
It seems like school is the biggest concern for you. In that case, I’d suggest you begin your search by looking for the best schools and then trying to find a property nearby that area. Trust me, you don’t want to buy a place and then end up having to travel forever just to drop off and pick up your kids each day!
Wallace replied to the topic Got some questions about PR agencies in the forum Lifestyle 10 months ago
My friend used to work for Broad Reach Communications, and he loved his job. Public Relations firms are all about improving your marketing operations, strengthening your brand, and helping you share your story.
Of course, they are there for you when something goes wrong, because they offer crisis management services to help you resolve any kind…[Read more]
Wallace replied to the topic Advice for starting a small business in the forum Lifestyle 10 months, 1 week ago
I’m not too sure how to make a business plan, but I’ll research it. Thank you!
Oh, and #6, I never thought about getting an Etsy shop, I’ll talk about it to Anna. Thank you everyone for your suggestions!
It’s true that we’ll need a good business name… We’ll need a few more brainstorming sessions, I think!
That’s right, that’s the plan for now. Maybe we’ll try to find some nice shops that would like to sell a few for us, but for now we’re thinking of setting up an online store. I think my son will be able to help with that part.
Well, my daughter and I are avid readers, and we always carry at least one book with us wherever we go! I didn’t like the fact that my books sometimes got damaged inside my purse, so I had the idea to create a bag that’s perfect to safely carry two books, but also my wallet, my phone, and a few other things!
